Thinking of submitting a conference? Maybe you've already sent your proposal? Here are a few notes to accompany you before, during and after!
Selection of sessions
The organizing team will conduct a vote taking into account the information provided when submitting the session form. Proofreading is anonymized to avoid favoritism. Being a sponsor does not give priority to your submissions.
One session = 1 ticket
If your proposal is accepted, you will receive a free place, a 3-day pass.
If you have already purchased your ticket before your subject is validated, we will be able to offer you a refund of the ticket already purchased.
If you have been selected for more than one session, it does not change anything, only one ticket is offered. However, if one of the topics is done by several people, a ticket for the second presenter may be offered to you.
Presentation format
When your topic is confirmed as part of the program, we will confirm the duration of the presentation.
We will also give you the slide support to use, to use for the entire presentation.
Beyond the standardization of the media, this allows us to guarantee a consistent layout to display the velotype on the screens.
Because yes, the presentations will be recorded and we will try to make them accessible.
Presentation content
You are free to choose your content. However, we will ask you to provide us with the technical terms you plan to use during your speech. We will share them with the team in charge of velotyping. Not everyone knows all the technical terms as well as we do^^
Technical terms, proper nouns or jargons will be necessary.
